Role Overview: As an Intern DevOps Engineer at Digiratina Technology Solutions, you will gain hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, deployment, automation, and DevOps practices. You will support the DevOps team in managing AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment activities while learning to troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to reliable, secure, and efficient software delivery.
Key Responsibilities as an Intern DevOps Engineer:
- Assist the DevOps team in managing and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Support development and QA teams with basic infrastructure and deployment-related tasks.
- Assist in provisioning and configuring AWS resources under the guidance of senior team members.
- Learn and contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting application deployments.
- Monitor AWS resources, applications, and logs and escalate issues when required.
- Assist with troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment-related issues.
- Support basic AWS IAM, security groups, networking, and access-management activities.
- Assist with monitoring, logging, backups, and other operational activities.
- Learn and follow cloud security and operational best practices.
- Assist in documenting infrastructure configurations, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in incident investigations and technical discussions with the DevOps team.
- Continuously learn AWS, DevOps, automation, and cloud infrastructure technologies.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing and AWS concepts.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, and related services is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP addresses, DNS, ports, firewalls, and security groups.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts is an advantage.
- Exposure to Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, or other DevOps tools is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative Agile team.
