Role Overview: As an Associate DevOps Engineer at Digiratina Technology Solutions, you will support the implementation and maintenance of secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure. Working closely with development teams, you will contribute to cloud automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure optimization to ensure reliable application deployments.
Key Responsibilities as an Associate DevOps Engineer:
- Assist in designing, provisioning, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Provision and manage AWS resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Develop, maintain, and improve Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC configurations.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.
- Work closely with development teams to understand and support infrastructure and deployment requirements.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, and services and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Investigate infrastructure and deployment incidents and contribute to root-cause analysis.
- Implement and maintain AWS security best practices, including IAM, security groups, network controls, and access management.
- Support AWS networking components including VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancers, DNS, and connectivity.
- Maintain operational tooling for deployment, monitoring, logging, alerting, and infrastructure analysis.
- Support containerized workloads using technologies such as Docker and Amazon ECS.
- Assist with infrastructure cost monitoring, optimization, and resource utilization improvements.
- Maintain cloud architecture documentation, deployment guides, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Participate in incident response, system maintenance, and on-call or support activities when required.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and other cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and deployment efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt DevOps and cloud best practices to improve automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, IAM, Security Groups, ECS, CloudFront, Route 53, Lambda, Aurora/RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and related services.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of Linux administration, shell scripting, and Git-based version control.
- Understanding of Docker and containerized application deployments.
- Good understanding of cloud networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, routing, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, security groups, proxies, and ACLs.
- Understanding of AWS IAM, least-privilege access, encryption, secrets management, and other cloud security best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting AWS infrastructure, application deployments, networking, and cloud services.
- Basic understanding of monitoring and logging using tools such as Amazon CloudWatch or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of AWS cost management and optimization is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and technical documentation skills.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively within Agile development teams.
